This joint workshop will be held in February, as an industry-university cooperation project sponsored by Visa Worldwide Japan CO., LTD (hereinafter “Visa Corp.”), a credit service company with world’s highest recognition and share.
The workshop has been offered in the second quarter every year, but this is the first workshop offered under industry sponsorship. You can earn 2 units, just as you can in the regular Concept Designing Workshop offered in the second quarter.

【Workshop details】
■Content: Students will collaborate in small groups on a theme assigned by Visa Inc. and present a scheme and proposal utilizing expertise of group members from both universities.
■Date: Tuesday, February 27- Saturday, March 3 (5 days)
■Time: 12:30~18:30 (subject to change)
■Place: TokyoTech Ookayama Campus, or Takanodai Campus, or Design lounge(Roppongi), (alternate daily)
■Cost: Transportation allowance will be provided. The best prize-winning group will be awarded pre-paid cards worth \10,000 ~.
■Number of recruits: about 10
* Participants will be chosen by drawing when there are more than 10 applicants.
■Who can apply:
Undergraduate (junior or senior), graduate students
■Requirements:
Need attend all five sessions.
Need consent to be photographed.

Format of abstract
– A4, one page, in English. The format is the same as the first page of “Extended abstract for master thesis” without “Short abstract.” The content and sections of the abstract should be appropriately organized within one page. Name and title in Japanese are also not necessary.

Poster session: Each presenter has a total of 15 minutes (5 min: oral presentation, 5 min: questions from other students, 5 min: questions from faculty members)
