Hiroki participates as a panel for United Nations University event

Ryoga Hiroki, a doctoral student of GUC lab, is not only active in research but also in extra-curricular voluntary activities.

On September 9, 2023, Hiroki was one of the panelists for a session organized by the United Nations University – Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS). The theme was entitled, “Youth Empowerment for the SDGs – UNU-IAS Stakeholder Dialogue”. It was supported by Global Environment Outreach Center (GEOC).

Coincidentally, Alvin also delivered a guest lecture for UNU-IAS in one of their intensive courses entitled, “Principles of International Development Project”, led by Prof. Shinya Hanaoka of Tokyo Tech. It was held last September 8, 2023, and participated by graduate students of various social-science backgrounds.
