Student Reports : GSEP 2018 Study Trip

Recently, the current 2nd year students of the Global Scientists and Engineers Program (GSEP) had the chance to go around the Kansai area (Kobe, Osaka, and Kyoto) for their study trip. Accompanied by the GSEP faculties, they went to different museums, a super computer facilty, and an actual Japanese manufacturing factory. The study trip aims to enrich the learning experiences of our GSEP students by showing them different places and letting them meet new people, engineers, entrepreneurs from the present, and even the past era that can inspire them and help them see what roles they would take on in the society after they graduate.

From here on, we will feature articles written by our students as they tell us about the places that they have visited during their study trip together with some of their insights. Chatr Suttijaree from Thailand, will tell us about the first-stop of the 2018 GSEP study trip:  the K-Supercomputer Facility.
