Let’s reach for our dreams! I made my first Mt. Fuji climb!

Hi! I am Nossa from Mongolia.

Studying at Tokyo Tech, a top university for science and technology in Japan, was the biggest decision in my life. It’s been only three months since I joined GSEP but it was the most wonderful three months in my life.

Becoming an outstanding civil engineer is my biggest dream. As most engineers would know, Japan is located on a critical area prone to earthquakes. But even if there are frequent earthquakes here in Japan, it is still one of the safest countries in the world. Here, I have seen how people address the problem and  find a solution for it. I believe that Tokyo Tech is the best place to learn different science and engineering fields. Even though we had little Japanese proficiency, GSEP gave us the opportunity to study in a prestigious Japanese university and enabled us to be closer to our dreams. GSEP enables me to not only broaden my perspective with diverse cultures of many international students but also master both English and Japanese languages at the same time, which was the best option I could possibly wish.

I joined a Mongolian Festival in Tokyo!

Studying in GSEP is a great opportunity for anyone. From the beginning, we had a very warm welcome from Tokyo Tech. The university president delivered his welcome speech in English, a rare occurrence in Japanese national universities during an entrance ceremony, for us. Teachers and professors are very kind and outstanding. They know how to motivate students and help us willingly in every single problem. I made many friends who come to Japan from all over the world. They are all open-minded and unique students and every time, I learn something new from every group work and discussion with them. Furthermore, campus life is here amazing. There are various kind of clubs and circles wherein we can join and develop or discover our talents. Being a member of this wonderful Tokyo Tech family, I feel like I am indeed getting better and getting closer to my dream.
