Promoting the updated AHE in the CMIP6 seminar series

Our on-going work on the projection of anthropogenic heat emission datasets, useful for understanding the human energy consumption’s influence on climate, will be presented in the upcoming CMIP6 seminar series # 9.

It will be delivered by Alvin during the seminar, which will be held from 0800 to 0900 UTC on October 29, 2025. He will be the second speaker of the seminar.

The Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP) is an international project that coordinates the use and comparison of global climate models (computer simulations of Earth’s climate) from research centers all over the world. It plays a foundational and essential role in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the overall investigation of climate change.
