I am Alvin C.G. Varquez. I was appointed associate professor of the Department of Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering last April 1, 2020. I have created this website to update you on our activities and findings. Hopefully, someday we can work together for a better urban environment.
During the time of this writing, we are all facing a pandemic brought about by COVID-19. At the moment, there is no physical lab but I and the students are conducting research remotely from our homes. On behalf of our group, I wish you all good health. I hope you and your family are safe from harm and are in very healthy condition.
