Chen Zeyu Receives the Matsuno Award at MSJ Autumn 2025


Chen Zeyu, a second-year Master’s student in our laboratory, was recently honored with the Matsuno Award at the 2025 Autumn Conference of the Meteorological Society of Japan (MSJ) held in Fukuoka. His award-winning presentation was titled: “Investigating Anthropogenic Factors Influencing Kanto’s Localized Heavy Rainfall.”

The Matsuno Award recognizes student members of the MSJ—including undergraduate and graduate students—who demonstrate high originality and achieve significant results through independent research.
