Participants in the workshop conducted by Dr Ulrike Oberlack of CSM gave their final presentation. Two teams presented outcome of their activities, 12 hours in total, of making concepts, discussing and making collages, which involved mood board, sketch vision and exploration of light and materials.
Making beautiful things is not the sole goal of designing. They are mere representation. But I wonder why the images the students showed and their faces were so beautiful when they were talking about their narratives in the workshop. A totally new and different process was there for making things, narratives and experience. I feel Ulrike’s warm personality also added a special touch to it.
