Tokyo in 10 years \u2013 what are we wearing? —in search of Existential Wearable<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Imagine Tokyo in 10 years. What are we wearing and what are we thinking then?<\/p>\n

We propose Existential Wearable: EX=to the outside; is=being. It is not something that already exists, but something that does not exist here\u3000( but exists outside) Existence is the term that leads us to the future. What will the wearable be like in the future? We hope it to be assistance to our existence, keeping us free and being free like wind.<\/p>\n

Tokyo Institute of Technology and Central Saint Martins, University of London have held caf\u00e9 events<\/a> and a wearable hackathon<\/a> on the above concept. Discussion production have been conducted in Japanese, English, mixing jargons in art with those in science\/technology and exploring various methods.<\/p>\n

We are now ready to present the outcome. What is our \u201cexistence\u201d going to be like? Join us to discover it!<\/p>\n
